What motivates you?
Or sometimes not.

I came into this world from a better one on a complete misunderstanding. You see I’ve never seen one reason to be nasty. Any need to attack in any way for any reason. It literally doesn’t compute.
To defend the weak I see a point. I couldn’t stand back and watch a child or animal hurt. I’d have to try to do something.
But what is being revealed about this world through the media and social media seems like a cosmic joke. Except they would never have anything to do with that kind of garbage. It’s just unbelievable at a cosmic level.
On social media we see that too many members of the public are everything they despise about politicians. Or worse. It’s called mirroring.
I see good, decent, caring people hurt too often. In this past week I had two instances of extreme rudeness, both unnecessary. Both a deliberate choice by the person who posted.
It came from their hearts, not mine.
I recognised those unusual things as a sign. I created a private group to move my connections to a place where we can discuss safely.
Helping people to be happier motivates me greatly. Collecting cats – responsibly – ditto. Creating laughter – hence Clarence.
But what I’m going to do now is to start to question the social media myth. It’s gone way past unsettling to dangerous. I’m not referring to rudeness, I’m referring to the unknown quantity, to the hate groups, the scams, the poison so freely distributed whilst ordinary people are warned and chased down for perfectly innocuous posts.
I’m motivated to create a safe space for my special people, and see if I can bring some common sense to this world.
Big love
Tremendous Tuesday
