Cuddling Cats!

Describe one habit that brings you joy.

15 years ago now

I mean meditating. No exercising. No going out and having fun. No…oh screw it, I mean cuddling cats.

I’m either that boring or that easily pleased. Or they’re that special. 🤣

Seriously, joy in the small things is the greatest achievement in life. Not needing a lot to make you happy is a blessing.

I was doing a guided meditation last night, it asks you to remember who you were, then create a better version of yourself.

Visualise it, how would you look, walk, talk, how do you want to feel? The only feeling I could genuinely feel was pure joy.

What I couldn’t do is remember how I used to be. That’s the point of this meditation and it’s worked.

General joy indicates a wonderful carefree life, that’ll do me! Top level manifesting sorted. I’ll let the rest take care of itself.

When you manifest you’re supposed to get pictures of the life you want. I’ve never been able to find any. I’ve tried but nothing ever felt quite right. Genuine.

I know two people who were so low they scribbled a quick handwritten note and stuck it in a drawer. Forgot about it. 100% success. In both cases an entire new husband and life.

I finally understand manifesting. Here it is:

A joyous carefree life at all times.

Find people and things that create joy in you. That way you’ll be supporting the inner world you’re trying to create, and giving it the best chance of become your dominant creative emotion. An emotion that will attract more of what you want.

Logic check

I lost that little girl in April, I’m still heartbroken, but I’m also filled with joy, because I had her. I am the luckiest woman on earth.

She’s just a different joy, and also a little bit intriguing at the moment. I’ll keep you posted.

Super Saturday, in your head weekend every day. No need to sit at work thinking how p*ssed off you are, think about plans for a great weekend.

P.S. They’re that special.

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
