Everything

What are you curious about?

However, to protect my mental health there are some questions I won’t ask. Some things I won’t focus on. I prefer to fill my mind with positivity and fascinating ideas.

As a child my question was “why”. That’s not uncommon for 2-year-olds, but it is unusual for a 17-year-old. I wanted to know why about everything.

When I joined the London Ambulance Service, my boss knew my dad as he worked in the London Control Room. He rang dad and asked him “when does she stop asking why?” Dad said “When she knows that job better than you do.” I wouldn’t say I knew it better than a man who’d devoted his career to it, but I made sure I knew what I was doing, not just in my own corner, but throughout the control so that I understood the needs of the other departments, and the impact of decisions.

My curiosity really comes from my spiritual calling. The Spirit World have stunned me so many times, from simple wisdom coming from a small tweak in the way we think, to pulling off actual miracles. From explaining things about life in a way I could never have imagined, to showing me how to help people their way. Connected living is truly stunning.

When you’ve had actual miracles you can’t explain, you can never think you know everything, which is why at 67 I’m still as curious, perhaps more so, than any 2-year-old. Because I know how many questions there are to answer.

The Quantum Scientific field, and other scientists and explorers of the human condition, are also opening our eyes to what it means to be human. To the capacity of the human mind, the capabilities of the human body, and to who exactly we might be. They’ve pretty much concluded that Cromagnon man, which we are, doesn’t originate from Earth.

Look up Human Chromosome Number 2 if you want to be surprised, it’s been spliced. They say that the odds on that being evolutionary are 10 to the power of 600 against. 10 to the power of 400 means completely impossible.

Names: Gregg Braden; Nassim Harramein; Joe Dispenza; David R Hamilton; Bruce Lipton. To name but a few.

If you’re still curious, have a look, and never change!

Ultimately, knowing what you don’t know is far more youthful than being right. That need comes from fear and it ages you faster than anything else. It takes away your optimism, your adventurous spirit, your ability to be wowed by life, and leaves in it’s place an old codger that people try to avoid.

Be curious – be youthful – be interesting – be alive!

Fantastic Friday

Sparing a thought for all the trouble spots in the world where the actions of a few have bought so much hurt and despair. Love is the most courageous emotion of all.

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
