A Brontosaurus

If you could bring back one dinosaur, which one would it be?

Because I rather unexpectedly, as in sugar is rather sweet, saw one on a spiritual journey once. In spirit they don’t need to be scary like the movies, it’s a place of love.

So I sat on some rocks with my guide, and a baby Brontasaurus wandered over and put its head on my lap. It was amazing and I never wanted to move.

The beauty of taking time to rest your mind in the spirit world is that the love there is overwhelming. Beauty is literally in the air. It’s like a mental and emotional spa under a super-powerful shower that still lands gently.

I love the fun of shutting your eyes, relaxing down, and allowing yourself to travel.

Boring common sense bit

This is best done in group, or in the presence of a spirit guide. So do get someone to help you develop the skill.

That’s important because we all have a subconscious which can spit out any amount of old junk that can be hard to deal with.

A friend had that happen yesterday, fortunately he knows what to do when it does. Make sure you’re not alone until you’re used to meditating and journeying.

With that visualisation Amos and the other group guides had to literally force us back. Nothing bad would happen, you wouldn’t be discovered in ten years time as a skeleton with a supremely relaxed expression. Your bladder would take care of that. But two hours late for work might get you fired.

That or the police putting a battering ram through your door because you forgot to pick the kids up from school, and your mother has called them convinced you must be dead or lying on the floor in a broken heap. Think of the way she’s going to yell at you when she finds you blissfully, perfectly, alright. You will never be allowed to forget it.

So the Brontasaurus

Yep, super-fond of them now. They still relax me when I think of them because it puts me right back in that beautiful place, with that blissful feeling.

Imagine them going walkabouts though? No garden fence is strong enough! Vegetable garden now subterranean.

All train journeys on the home to boring work line suspended as a group of Brontasauri had fun playing on the lines last night, and are now flat out asleep on the wreckage.

There will be no buses today as big dino family held a dance in the bus station.

Nope, this world isn’t really set up for full on magnificence now, or extreme nature. 🙄🦕

Surf the magical realms this Saturday! Find your own dinosaur.

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
