This is so true. People like me have experiences they didn’t expect and can’t explain, but one thing we know is – they actually happened.
Take last week. We’re currently looking for a kitten, and a friend to bring with her. That part is a very long and emotional story. We know we’re looking for a very specific kitten. This has happened to us before. I’ve already written the Charlie story, I’m pretty sure it’s in the miracles section of this blog.
Two weeks ago this Sunday we went to a rescue centre to check out their latest intake. Just before we left I saw a little kitten looking at me. I called her to come and say hello, but she didn’t move, she remained completely still. In my mind she was a she but I knew there were only boys in that cage. For some odd reason I didn’t ask Tony to come and look at her. As we drove away I told him that I thought one of the boys had connected to me, and Tony said go up and see him tomorrow, he will make a companion for the one we’re looking for.
I duly went up, and met the same lady who’d shown us around the day before. I described the kitten to her. She said “We don’t have one like that”. I told her where it was and she said “Yes I saw you looking and talking to a kitten, but they’re all black and white boys in there.” She very kindly let me check out all the kittens to make sure, and that kitten was not there. At least now I know what I’m looking for.
The point of sharing this story is that although it maybe sounds woo-woo and crazy to people who don’t have my life experience, and that of my fellow spiritual travellers, to us it’s completely normal. It’s just how our lives work.
Obviously it is difficult to take in experiences that you’ve never encountered, and I’m not writing to try to convince anyone of anything. I write about this because it’s helped me greatly in my everyday life. In a practical way.
I don’t work in the spiritual field at all now. Not because I don’t love it and I did love the work, but because the reality version of spirituality calls to me more. Taking a brilliant way of being and implementing it in your life. Nowadays I share my journey through mentoring and help others find their own way, their own way. The results are stunning.
My journey is as a soul in a human body living an everyday life, but trying to bring every tool at my disposal to creating the best journey. That, for me, includes my soul and spiritual connections.
This is my reality, and it’s as real as my house, my car, the furniture, my cats. There is nothing strange about it. It’s something anyone can have in their life by divine right of being.
Us, animals, birds, insects, rodents, trees, plants, the sky, the earth, the seas, the moon, the stars, the planets. Everything is connected, everything has that link. Skin colour is just gift wrap, or natural sun bloc, whichever way you want to look at it. Gender just is; a soul has been all genders and can manifest in any way it wants to.
We are all one, all atoms, all connected, no one and nothing is excluded from this way of life. It’s the most fully inclusive way I know.
And that’s why I love it and want to share it.
More on spiritual connections next.

I’ve had some strange things happen too, so I agree with you.

We should compare strange things one day 🤣. Do you follow this sort of path? Way?

Yeah. I can’t see any other way. It might have started when my dead pet visited me when I was fifteen. I know, weird, right?

Completely normal in my world. I had one experience age 6 where I was able to describe to my mum her brother who died aged 4 in 1942. But then both mum and nan saw and heard Spirit. I had nothing after that until I was 38 when I became a medium in the middle of a telephone call.

Yep. Been my life for 29 years now. So much I never expected but I’m grateful for. You?
