The Dentist

What are your future travel plans?

Yes it’s that exciting! Although I do get a new crown today, which is wonderful. Yesterday I had a front tooth filled, it’s been filled since I was 13 and you could always see it. My new dentist veneered the tooth so you can’t see it and it seals the edges and makes it stronger.

I’ve had a vulnerable tooth for a while, large filling. Also filled when I was a child. Long bad dentist who should have been sued story. I asked dentists about a crown to protect what’s left. Lots of head shaking. This dentist suggested it! Bless him.

He also 3D printed a temporary crown while I waited. Extraordinary. He’s no more expensive than my other dentists. We can afford to go private, with a bit of a tremble sometimes.

We never intended to but because the NHS were paying dentists six months later (20 years ago) they were cancelling NHS appointments because they needed to pay their bills and buy food. So we went fully private. At least we’re not taking space from people who have no choice, which meant something 20 years ago.

So in a way the only travel I’ve got planned for the foreseeable future is going to make a positive difference.

Apart from that it’s regular cat rescue visits with food, because we’re searching for a kitten. Another one of my spiritual imperatives. I’ve found every cat we’ve had in very strange ways.

Thank God that God moves in mysterious ways. That’s a sincere comment. I never take the most beautiful energy in the universe in vain. It’s my guiding light.

Holidays? None planned. None since 2017, 2014, 2011, 2003, you get the picture. My husband has worked such long hours in a mentally demanding role, that he deserves to just be quiet at home and enjoy it.

Me, I’m happy with the cats and my spiritual journey certainly takes me to amazing places.

Life is a journey – make it exciting!

Wish this blog was, but it has potential!

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
