The Weird and Wonderful

On what subject(s) are you an authority?

Sort of says it

Except that you can never be an expert on the infinite possibilities in this universe. That’s claiming too much.

However, having stepped outside my life training to find myself in a magical way of thinking and living, that has much better rules. I can say I’m an expert on being different.

Some rules

  • It’s your life live it your way.
  • You are unique. Be unique.
  • General rules of ‘being’ can’t apply to everyone, maybe anyone.
  • You’re a child of the universe. There is stuff of the Big Bang in your DNA. Part of what makes you, you, has been around since then.
  • You’re already older and wiser but you won’t access that through thinking. it’s through feeling and knowing. Being honest with yourself.
  • No one gets to tell you who you are.
  • Parents are human, view them that way.
  • Joy is your default setting.
  • Happiness is your guiding light, not happy, don’t do it. Simple.
  • People will tell you that’s wrong. You don’t need that trash talk in your life. Refuse to believe in happiness because they say so and you’ll soon be as miserable as them.
  • Love.
  • Kindness.
  • Respectful behaviour.
  • Lots of ‘and so on’s’ in all good things. Plus:

Magical people stop doing what they’ve always done. They sit quietly and feel what’s right. They stop thinking and wait to know.

They step away from anger and nastiness without having to have their say, and they don’t look back. They simply leave others to be themselves.

We’re different. And it’s fun.

I’m an expert in knowing this is the right way to be, and a permanent student of infinite potential. Although, I don’t actually need to be an expert, it would spoil the adventure.

Tremendous Thursday

Unless you’re in the UK, in which case detach from politics and you might get closer to tremendous!

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
