Super Boring

Clarence here, I rested yesterday. Politicians are so boring at the weekend, they’re usually just playing normal which is like watching yourself doing the vacuuming on TV.

During elections it’s awful though, they’re full on having the same conversations, saying the same thing in the same way asking if it sounds better.

I did hear rumour once that a teenager stormed out of the house when they couldn’t stand it anymore, yelling “It would be much more convincing if you meant a word of it! That’s what’s missing!”

But that’s only a rumour as I accidentally deleted the recording I was laughing so hard.

You can’t really blame them though. We’ve never wanted to pay more tax, but we do want more and better services. Prices go up so tax should go up. But of course that won’t work. We all need a reality check.

Anyway. They’ve been mundane as always. A second apology from the PM over D Day was as exciting as it got. At least he has apologised, when Johnson wouldn’t they condemned him, Sunak has and they’ve condemned him too.

When that’s the most exciting thing about an election campaign that tells you everything you need to know about reporting on it.

Ed Davey may have to be my target of choice this time if I’m going to be funny, but in truth him at a funfair when there are so many kids without food who may never visit one, didn’t work for me.

I’m struggling to be purely funny this time as it’s almost to insult what too many of our people are going through. Especially when our twelve year olds seem to have the money for machetes. Those parents have serious questions to answer.

Dear Lord what a world. I’ve decided it’s a very badly run world when even politicians can’t amuse you. Even the toppling of the blue wall didn’t raise a smirk!

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
