Falsehoods

This wasn’t enough?

You take pleasure in helping others

Not killing them

You find joy in loving others

Not hurting them

In educating not demeaning

In communicating not striking

Weapons have always failed

It always comes down to words

And agreements

After far too much damage has been done

We humans are slow learners

Who worship the wrong gods

Success not compassion

Power not true strength

All bullying is weakness

Perfection not humanity

The same not different

Intention is only innocent

If the intent is not to harm

The stories we make up in justification

Are as insubstantial as a breeze

And the truth is seen

Your viewpoint never charges the visuals

Actions do speak louder than words

Everyone knows that

Everyone sees that

Only a fool thinks otherwise

The powerful lie

Because they think the people are stupid

But the people have eyes

And they know who is stupid

Unless they think that violence is power

They’re scared of vague threats from all sides

When the people threatening them

Aren’t even thinking about them

They’re just getting up and going to bed

And doing their best in between

Don’t fall for the falsehoods

They only support the people of power

You have eyes

Use them

What you see is real

What you hear is justification

When a god manifests here

In front of me

And tells me that the falsehoods are real

I will believe

But not otherwise

I will never believe a human

Out to do harm

I know a lie when I see one

So do you

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
