Describe a positive thing a family member has done for you.

My husband in very good to me, he tries very hard, but he has one of those jobs that rule your life. Huge responsibility, loads of pressure, long days. A fortnight so holiday is not than he can bear due to the thousands it so emails he would have to answer. That’s the tip of the iceberg.

My Brother

I’d long since given up the idea of ever having a family. It has been Tony and I for over 20 years. That’s not a complaint my family was a mess. It represented sanity and freedom from swimming in an emotional cesspool.

However, three years ago my brother decided that it had all been ridiculous, and cashed and left a very gentle message telling me that he’d fully understand of I didn’t call back. I called. It took courage to do that and I was happy to meet him half way, and without interference we’ve created a great relationship with him and his family.

My Frister

She and her husband are real friends, they will help you if humanly possible. She checks on me everyday and I her. My day out with her every week is when I can relax and be the full spectrum of me, knowing I’ll be loved anyway.

She’s an amazing person and can’t see it, so I enjoy spending one day a week reminding her. It’s the least I can do. Upset her and don’t turn your back on me, because if she’s upset I’m very upset.

We met in the oddest way, a former friend ‘just knew’ we had to meet. Frister was nervous, I was immediately counting my blessings. That friend walked out when my mother died, Katrina is still here. Says it all.

Her husband pretends he’s a crusty Yorksherman, he should be on the stage, he’s anything but. He’s my friend in chocolate.

These people, together with my brother’s amazing wife and family, have given me the greatest blessings anyone could have.

Okay, they’re not cats…but even so…they’re pretty close to that magnificence.

😻🤣🤣🤣🤩😻

May life bless you

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
