Because my family were a ridiculous mess my sister-in-law and I only started to get to know each other in recent years. I’d liked her since the day I met her, she’s kind and sensitive to the feelings of others, and fun. Plus she makes great cakes.
Since we have become closer I thoroughly enjoy my time with her, however, it was only recently that I discovered just how alike we are. You probably won’t believe this but it’s true!

As a Christmas present she and my brother bought us tickets for this show. We were all very excited to be seeing it at the end of this month, until she realised that it was actually 2025.
We all had a good natured giggle.

Earlier this year Torvill and Dean announced that they were hanging up their skates, but not before doing one more tour. I was on the Internet booking tickets for hubby and I within seconds. I’ve seen all their shows, Tony’s seen a couple, and we weren’t missing this one.
The show is at the end of this month, or so I thought.
I received a confirmation email for the tickets and the day and date didn’t match, so I emailed to check. I received a very polite reply informing me that the show was in 2025.
I was telling Tony when I got this uncomfortable feeling that it was the exact same day and time as Only Fools. I was right.
I couldn’t quite believe that both of us had managed the exact same thing, but what are the odds that it would also be the exact same day!
The moral of the story is – you might think you’re different but given time you may well discover that you have more in common than you think.
In our case lack of attention to detail, not establishing the facts, and generally not knowing what year it is. 🤣🤣🤣
