The Power of Two Letters to Unite

I’ve never liked the myth that men and women are different, I’ve always believed that we’re two sides of the same coin, wanting the same things. Bringing our individual strengths and abilities to the party.

I don’t like it when people spread myths that divide, convince humans that they can’t get along. Especially with this one, the survival of the race depends on us getting along. The welfare and happiness of children too young to defend or help themselves is dependent on us getting along.

This does include all permutations of what it means to be a couple. A woman can help two men to have a child, and a man can help two women.

I don’t know how being a transgender man or woman works – I’m sorry I just genuinely don’t and don’t want to pretend – but they can still have and raise children.

As long as the necessary ingredients can be found somewhere, all is well. Any child brought up in a loving environment will do well, and heterosexuals fail spectacularly at that one on an all too regular basis; so I’m all for any loving family.

I read an interesting blog about male emotions this morning, and noted how similar the writer’s emotions were to mine, just coming from a different angle but with the exact same intent.

It made me think about the two letter difference between ‘man’ and ‘woman’: W and O.

Literally: With-Out each other we wouldn’t survive.

Interesting.

The blog that inspired me was ‘Navigating Masculinity’ on:

A male and female a world apart talking about the exact same feelings. It’s so important to understand this, especially at the moment.

The World Over (W and O) we have so much in common. A care for the welfare and happiness of children and others.

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
