What is the biggest challenge you will face in the next six months?
One person’s challenge is another person’s area of complete disinterest. What makes one person feel challenged another person may not even notice.
My challenge
For 40 years I fought acute anxiety that was enough.
As a result I like a quiet steady life. Excitement might be nice but that’s very rarely worked out for me, it’s usually preceded disappointment, so now I just take a step and keep going. If something works I enjoy it, if it doesn’t I walk away without a backward glance. I don’t take my sense of self from how well I do, I take it from how I feel.
Nothing is more important than feeling good.
My emotional life has been a journey, I’m essentially a teacher who teaches from life experience. I prefer the term spiritual mentor, I share knowledge people may not have come across and help them work with it their way. I help them undo the past by becoming their true self. I help them discover who they really are and support them in being that person.
This is how I moved away from the past and its effects. Finding my truth. Retrieving the me programme and running updates to remove all the bugs.
The message
We are all soul. Some souls become badly damaged here. That can be dealt with when they return to their spirit, either in this life or when they go back.
Some people lose their connection entirely. Some remain true to their essential self without even knowing what they’re doing on a conscious level.
Essentially we’re all the same age though, take the old soul theory with a pinch of salt. Our soul self gets a new programme when we’re born and becoming aware of your soul helps you to filter it. Keeping what feels right and leaving the rest to the people who taught you things that don’t belong in your jigsaw.
They’re their beliefs and problems.
So maybe my biggest challenge was retrieving myself from the mess of my past, which was partly of my own making as I knew I shouldn’t do certain things but allowed myself to be wrong all the time. I was born in an age where children were to be seen and not heard and your parents knew best.
If you stood up to them you were thrown aside. Which was the finest thing that ever happened to me. It gave me time to think and we sorted it out later.
So perhaps the question is, depending on how you define a challenge, is being your true self the one thing we all need to achieve? But of course that won’t be a challenge to some people.
If you see a challenge as setting a goal and then reaching it, well those are healthy challenges and great ones to have.
I’ve never ever felt that I had any goal that I desperately wanted to achieve. Perhaps the issues I faced were my life challenge? It feels like they were. The only thing I’ve ever truly wanted is to be healthy, happy, and have a joyful mind.
I want that for everyone. I wish that on the world.
I look forward to reading what some of you are challenging yourselves to achieve. I might get some good ideas.
