If you had the power to change one law, what would it be and why?

I would add in teaching about, and adherence to, this Law. It is one if the 12 Universal Laws, the most famous of which is the Law of Attraction. But just getting what you want isn’t the whole story.

Oneness
Is of course oneness with all things, all that is. It’s why some people can’t see themselves as more important than an animal, the planet, the needs of others, and so on. I put animals first to remind us that we’re the most destructive beings on this planet and don’t belong at the top of the list.
These people are the ones that cry at the full moon every month, not only because it’s so damned beautiful and amazing, or because it can light up the night just using reflected energy from the sun, but because it’s beauty is within our soul. Within us. We feel it more than see it. We have a much longer list of things that move us to the depths of our soul.
More importantly we don’t see race, colour, creed, nationality, religion, we see people.
Yes I know that during the Black Lives Matter protests we were told that it was ridiculous to say that we don’t see colour, and that’s true, we see it everywhere we look, but what we don’t see is difference. That is oneness.
Frankly it was deeply insulting to be forced not to say the one thing that is so important, the one thing that unites rather than divides:
I see you as me. With the same needs, wants, loves, fears, joys, hopes. We are part of the whole.
There was an attempt to force us into saying that a person’s skin made them different to us, it didn’t work. It almost felt like “You must be colour prejudiced. It’s ridiculous that you can’t be.” It was prejudicial which we are not.
There are people on this planet capable of Oneness with all things and the worst thing we could possibly do is change. To be like the ones bullying us would make this world a far worse place.
We were silenced during Black Lives Matter out of respect for the fact that too many people didn’t get it. I lost a friend over All Lives Matter, I wasn’t allowed to feel that way, I had to understand the division. I don’t do division. It goes against my core beliefs. All life matters.
Oneness
The Law of Divine Oneness suggests that everything in the universe is interconnected and that everything is part of one whole. We are all part of a universal consciousness, and that our thoughts, actions, and emotions affect the world around us.
That’s the basis, one with all things – all things are one.
My take
Atoms are the building blocks of the universe. Everything in existence is atoms, what made us all is part of that amazing cosmos up there. We’re connected to things light years beyond our imagination.
Atoms form themselves into patterns, and physicists have discovered that pattern never changes. That’s why an Alder doesn’t drop a seed that turns into an Oak tree. (They actually drop what feels like thousands of seeds and try to turn your garden into a forest every spring.)
All atoms. You, me, a tree, an animal, the sky, the sun, the moon, the Earth, every single thing in existence is a pattern comprised of one identical building block.
Hence the ability of some people to see themselves as part of a far greater whole, not as the centre of the universe. Worse still, the only thing that matters in the universe.
Some say that this is a spiritual law, but for me this is a natural law, a natural fact, obscured by thousands of years of the worst possible training by fear based humans. The fear is general, and we choose how, or whether, we manifest it.
My core beliefs
The land masses of this planet broke apart due to seismic activity. There is only the Earth.
The Earth was designed for everyone to walk until they needed a boat. There were and still are no real boundaries on this Earth. Mountains can be traversed and the sea can be crossed.
Then some fool created a barrier around their land. It became my land. Therefore it had to be defended.
The Earth had enough for everyone, and is still capable of supporting us, if we were a little less into stuff and a little more into caring for what keeps us alive. The only thing that keeps us alive. We and the planet, and the animals, the insects, the flora and fauna, the eco system and the cosmos, are one. Yet it’s quite humbling to realise that:
As the most powerful things on the planet in our own opinion, without us it will be better off. It will recover, it will survive and thrive.
To harm the Earth is to harm ourselves. Yet we can’t see the oneness. Well some of us can’t.
We have a natural eco system of which the animal and insect kingdoms are part. As we destroy different species we gradually disconnect areas of that system. Now it doesn’t work as intended.
We kill for fun, animals kill to eat and survive. They provide what often feels like a harsh system of culling each other, but it’s one without malice.
Without insects, birds, fish, animals, this planet will move out of our control. The bees die, we die. The Bee is more important than the entire human race. Of course if we were oneness we would celebrate the bees as the ancients did, rather than feel affronted at this challenge to our power.
You get where I’m coming from. Respect for all life from the ant to the planet.
How it is for me
- It doesn’t matter where you were born. It matters who you are.
- It doesn’t matter what colour your skin is. It matters who you are.
- The attitude to various gods is a creation of man that needs to be put to one side in favour of oneness. Bearing in mind that the universal energy is part of oneness. It is oneness and it exists for all.
- Expecting our politicians to put everything right has to stop, we must be the answer.
- Our thoughts create our lives and attitudes, we need to move from I to oneness. Not even to we. Total oneness.
- All the time we will kill the survival chain, burn the planet, destroy the forests, and even consider launching nuclear weapons, we are nowhere near either enlightened or intelligent. Let alone powerful.
- With oneness we survive. With division we don’t. Simple.
However, can we find the courage and compassion that will allow us to finally thrive in all ways, to restore our world, and have respect for more than money, race, gender, colour, creed, religion, or the voice in our own head?
All the time killing children in favour of the greater good is a thing, and I’m referring to the last 2000 years at least, not just what’s going on today, the answer is no.
All the time women are weapons of war, vessels if a man wants sex, there for the raping, beating, or trading, the answer is no.
All the time your skin colour or gender can be used against you, the answer is no. Remembering that white trash is a term. Heterosexuals are under fire. Women aren’t allowed to be women and have the needs of women, but we don’t dare complain because that’s prejudice. How do we always land up at the bottom of the heap? It’s all wrong. The whole entire lot is wrong! Coming from anyone.
All the time your colour, race, or gender can be used as a weapon, all colours, all races, all genders, the answer is no. All the time we even see these things as a thing, the answer is no.
All the time men, women, and children, can be taken as slaves, which is still going on the answer is no. Slavery was disgusting, and still is.
All the time we can knife, shoot, or beat each other to death in the streets the answer is no
All the time we see each other as different, the answer is no.
All the time we believe that we have to accept differences rather than embrace them naturally, All the time we even think in terms of difference, the answer is no.
Oneness is the only answer, and should therefore be a law.
The ever optimistic, slightly beaten back, but still utterly determined to try to do something however small…
