Under pressure!

Me before I check my stats in the morning

The reaction to this blog has been amazing, so let me start with a huge thank you to all who read it and take the trouble to give me a like. It means the world to me.

I’m also reading some fascinating work and being inspired by the sheer quality of the writing, so thank you for that too.

There is one teensy issue though. I’m used to having no traction on social media. In a world where a 60 second post on a loop is deemed interesting, I’m definitely out of step, plus I am weird.

My grip has been even worse since Meta stopped my advert after a complaint that I was ‘using sex to sell‘ which was the most insulting thing ever. I was wearing a very uninteresting T-shirt that might be the lowest cut top I own, but it guess nowhere near anything remotely interesting, that is so not me, I’ve refused to pay them a penny more.

To me these blogs are more real now than a quick post with compulsory image on social media, we don’t talk anymore we meme. Everything I read has far more value, as long as you still have a concentration span.

So when I wake up and have no likes that’s not great but I don’t expect everyone to be thrilled by me, but no visitors! I feel so neglected and start wondering if I should start using…more cat images.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
