Humanity

What do you complain about the most?

There is only one race on this Earth, humanity.

We have the same problems, the same fears, the same needs. Yet we take so much pride in being right, in insulting people of other races, claiming we’re victims of prejudice and constantly insulting people of other colours, another race, another religion.

So many reasons to hate, yet all hate is like taking poison and waiting for someone else to die.

Choices choices

Your life is your choice. Not taking action is a choice. Deciding to listen to our elders or contemporaries is a choice. Carrying on hatred and prejudice down through the generations is a choice. It happens for only one reason:

Because we want to hate.

Those who want to hate will find reasons.

It’s also an abdication of responsibility, picking on others won’t make you feel better about your life, but it will make you feel much, much, worse.

Choose Love

Always.

Have you got the courage? Will we see the past as unchangeable and be a person who helps to create a better future?

We all have a choice. Choice and responsibility go hand in hand. If we sit back and do and say nothing, we are responsible for choosing a future probably worse than the present.

  • Don’t allow hate speech towards yourself or anyone else.
  • Don’t use hate speech.
  • Have a zero tolerance attitude towards all unnecessary behaviour.
  • Protect the animal kingdom where you can.
  • Never stand by and let a child suffer. Don’t keep calling the authorities – go up there in person and kick up a public fuss, take a tv crew with you.
  • Speak respectfully to all.
  • Show the strength of love in all that you do.

These things will make a difference. Small as they sound. The more people we convert the better. It’s at least something other than feeding the beast.

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
