Where can you reduce clutter in your life?

I’ve got one of those minds that if you don’t give it something to do it gets up to mischief. As a result, if I don’t find it a purpose it makes up its own, and the results aren’t always that positive.
Kind of ‘if you don’t find me something fun to do I’ll start telling you all the ways that everything can go wrong all at once. Trust me I’ll ruin your day!’
Because this isn’t fun I go out and do something, often that’s browsing round the shops and falling for things like a neon pink pig shaped money box.
I’ve got quite a few self preservation items around the house, bought mainly to occupy my mind, that I get fed up with dusting. I decide to take them to the charity shop, and then the mixer kicks in and points out that I might need that one day.
So firstly it clutters my thoughts with junk, then my house with junk, then it won’t let me get rid of it.
The answer, obviously, is to use my mind to good purpose, which will also occupy my time, stop me gathering dust collectors, and generally ensure harmonious digestion.
The more tired the mind, the quieter life is, and I won’t need stuff to make me feel better.
If you think about it, if you have a cluttered house, it’s normally your mind that creates the problem and then scares you out of solving it. So to declutter your life or house you need to first take control of your mind!
