Newsletter: January 2024

I’ve thought about newsletters before, but run hot and cold with them, as sometimes it felt that I had nothing much to say.
However, considering the state of this world at the moment, I feel that there’s an excellent reason to explore a different way of thinking that is, by nature, fully inclusive and based purely on self-responsibility and trying to be a decent human.
Release the human
Step one has to be to think about ourselves in a different way. Here’s how I see it.
The atom is the building block of the universe. Everything is atoms. We are atoms. Atoms are 99% energy and 1% matter. Therefore we are 99% energy and our body is the 1% that is matter. Makes you think about where the invisible rest of you is doesn’t it? It’s energy that cannot be contained within your body, which is why you conduct electricity and can create a spark between yourself and metal. So, you cannot physically see everything you are.
As atoms are everything we must therefore be connected to everything that is, that includes everything in the known universe and beyond. Personally I see us as part of a giant honeycomb of random shapes that could be anything: a tree; a horse; a cloud; a star. That last one is important as there are trace elements of the big bang within our DNA. Which means that something of us was around at the time; i.e. atoms.
This is all stuff I’ve read or heard at conferences. I’m not writing to be entirely accurate because I’m working towards an understanding of all this, it’s something you can research yourself and see how you feel. This is just outlining where I’m coming from.
Although I never thought for one second that I was a psychic medium, it turned out that I was, so I went with it, obtained training, and started out on the journey. However, I have to find out about these things and try to ensure that I can make a logical pattern. When I went to The Conference for Consciousness and Human Evolution – which I highly recommend if you want to discover just how much you don’t know about the human state – my eyes were opened to the work of quantum physicists, the Institute of HeartMath (heartmath.org), and writers such as Gregg Braden and Joe Dispenza. The research being done is fascinating and the human condition is definitely a miracle.
At that conference so much of what they were saying made logical sense of how mediumship worked, how psychics can read your energy, past lives, and goodness knows what else. To me it sealed the deal that this journey of exploration I’d been on had real, logical, scientific merit. As well as mental, physical, and emotional benefits.
That was when I realised that if we let go of what it means to us to be human, all that centuries old programming that is centuries old information, and move to a place of exploring our potential, we could actually change this world.
Think for one moment about that honeycomb, every single living thing is part of it, which includes every single human being on this planet, and other beings wherever they may be. We are, together, the cosmic whole. So if you murder someone else you murder a part of yourself. Okay, their soul does return to the cosmos, but even so it’s like cutting your arm off. In this case you may not realise that part is gone, it may not seem important. Yet if we think that way, if I harm anything or anyone I harm me…what could that thinking times 7 billion mean? What kind of world could it create.
The idea that everything is one is as old as the hills, appearing in some of our most ancient texts, but science is proving that the ancients knew what they were talking about.
So…
To conclude the January musings on what it could mean to be spirit in the real world.
To me living from a fully inclusive perspective, believing that we’re essentially soul and therefore extremely ancient and meant to express pure love, can change this world. It would represent a releasing of fear and suspicion, external influences, and division through race, religion, gender, colour, or creed. We would all acknowledge that we are the same at the very core of our being, and energetically related. The family of human-kind. Emphasis on kind.
This thinking has changed my mind, my reactions, and my approach to life. It has centred me in my very human self, where there is compassion for that state but my soul makes no excuses. I can face myself without hating myself, and take responsibility for my words and actions because although I am only human, my soul isn’t accepting that as an excuse. It expects better.
It works for me, and for members of my Spiritual Empowerment Groups. It could work for you too. It’s a very personal journey, the only person who gets to tell you what you think, believe in, or need, is you. It’s a unique journey in every sense of the word.
If you’re interested in this work at any point, I can run more groups, do talks and workshops online or in person (UK based). Just call or email me via the contact page on this website.
