What relationships have a positive impact on you?

I have wonderful people in my life that I love, respect, and admire. My groups work alongside me to try to learn how to be more empowered and empowering humans, in the right way, the kind way. I class them among my spiritual relationships.
I also find animals very spiritual, they give unconditional love and they bring it out in you.
The relationship with nature is also of a spiritual nature (sorry couldn’t resist that).
My family relationships are far more positive now, but then what’s left of us made a decision to be a force for good for each other, and we’re deliberately being that.
For me, these aspects of my life have no intention of doing harm. Like me the groups aren’t more than human but we are trying to be a force for good, people you can be human around. The family is the same.
My Guides are, of course, the epitome of spiritual, but they’re still very real. If they think you’re hurting yourself they won’t pat you on the head, tell you why it’s not your fault, blame everyone else, or tell you the world isn’t fair.
They teach. They ask questions. Suggest things for you to work through, give directional hints as it were. Then they stand firmly behind you while you work it out. They can’t affect free will, they have to guide you. They don’t run other people down either. They understand them too. Nor do they tell tales. They’ll just ask “what might that person be going through?”
Me
My most spiritual relationship is with me. Through a series of unexpected events I have become in touch with my own soul. We call it ‘living soul forward’ in the groups.
It doesn’t create perfection, we’re still women of a certain age, but we all wanted to learn better ways of being. We have.
What it does is it puts you in connection with everything you are and have ever been. It helps you bypass your life training, let it go. Stop being the product of screwed up humans. Decide who you are for yourself and learn to change your reactions; which of course charges your actions.
These are my positive impacts. The loving ones. Supportive ones. Get on this path and you’ll see how screwed up humanity really is, and how many people will be unhappy but do absolutely nothing about it because they believe that’s the way life is. There’s no changing those who choose believe happiness is unrealistic.
You can’t be happy all the time but you can be calmer when you’re not. We have a little cat causing concern at the moment, I am not happy, I am concerned, but I’m also ten times calmer than I would have been even a year ago. I have one focus – helping her as much as I can.
You
The relationship that should be the most positive, the most supportive, the strongest, is the relationship with yourself. You should be the most loving, life affirming, person in your life.
It’s not a lonely feeling. My loneliness has gone since I’ve thought this way. Me, myself, and I, are very happy together, often more so than when other humans get involved.
It’s easier to understand humans, but often harder to be with them. You appreciate the life affirming ones more, and gently (and a little bit sadly) avoid the others. The sadness is for them of course.
When I see people hurting themselves because they have to be right, I feel so sorry for them. Being right in a world full of unique individuals really isn’t possible.
Everyone’s truth is their own, divined from their own life, but the belief that we’re right and don’t need to change, that we know everything we need to know, is a faulty, life destroying one.
Not just one life either, it affects every life you touch. Teach that to your kids and they will struggle too. Yet not knowing everything is so much more fun. It brings out the adventure in life.
My thoughts?
If you’re unhappy, change it. But the person you are, the way you think, act, and react, the things you choose to believe, are the things that have created your life so far.
To truly change you must free yourself from all past teachings. No human is qualified to be a parent or teach another. We’re adults with questionable programming passing it on. No one’s fault, it just is.
Free yourself from classical thought. Read the great philosophers and the new age thinkers, open your mind to being retrained, and you will become younger as you get older.
Still amazed by the world, not cynical, not stuck in your ways, you’ll be a youthful soul moving through an awesome world full of many amazing people and things. Aware of the other, not blind or deaf, but realistic about what you can do, and you will do it.
I do speak up against all violence, war, unkind speech, lying, harming anyone or any animal. I will share my work and learning with anyone who will listen, and be open to adding to the good in this world. I do what I can where I can. Including right here.
My training now comes from Spirit, and I know I’m the better for it. All round. I am so so grateful.
I quite like me. Never thought I’d say that! But I do. Quite a lot. I am one of my positive relationships.
