Simple Kindness

What is something others do that sparks your admiration?

No matter what people say there are more good people in this world. The fact is you hear little about them.

From the charity workers and all volunteers, to those working on the climate, to scientists dedicated to the good of humanity, to ambulance staff, people saving animals, and working on the climate, to our King for turning being the Prince of Wales from a party-while-you-wait role to one where you find problems and work to fix them, there are so many truly incredible people in this world. If you’re not listed it’s because this blog could be a mile long.

If you’re a police or fire officer, I feel sorry for the many good people doing those roles, the many brave people, but you’re in a polluted environment at the moment and your act needs a serious clean up. But credit to those who aren’t mysogenists, sexual predators, colour prejudiced. If you’re holding onto who you are under that pressure you’re brave and decent in the extreme. And thank you.

So much good losing the headlines to the nasty, violent, rabid idiots of this world, who will rape, kill, maim, bully, insult race and gender, steal extra hours of workers lives for no money, or pay just enough that full time workers can’t afford food. The landlords creating homelessness. The councils letting their housing rot. The warmongers stuck in the dark ages.

It’s unfair, so…

Heroes

If you are decent, kind, respectful, inclusive. If you love and respect the animal kingdom, if you are fair, honest, determined to be a positive force, and do good wherever you can, even just simply being kind, in a world like this…

You

Are

Heroes

Thank you

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
