World Peace

What have you been working on?

Yes I’m that stupid!

On the other hand is it stupid to want everyone everywhere to be safe, fed, sheltered, and thrive? People try to convince me that I live in cloud cuckoo land and I’m deluded, but it will never work. I see more children dying, more people murdered, more women used as weapons of war, nationalism, tribalism, and I know that I can’t be wrong.

It baffles me why anyone would think it isn’t a necessity. Of course we’re on a hiding to nothing, but all the time those who do believe stand back just because they won’t win at the moment, momentum doesn’t increase.

This is the long haul where the baton has to be passed from generation to generation. The past has to be left where it is. The only place it exists is within memory. You can’t change it or undo it you can only learn from it and do better.

I am not proud to be from one of the countries that built an empire. I am pleased to be from a country who together with other nations turned part of that empire into a commonwealth of mutual respect, I am proud to be a member of that commonwealth. Long may it thrive in its rainbow diversity.

Diversity is the most fascinating thing about this world. A unique, varied, wonderful thing.

Let’s be more inclusive, less scared, and more dynamically peaceful.

Apart from that I’m writing. Which is wonderful. I lost it for years and blogging has bought it back.

Happy Sunday everyone! 💖

Congrats to the Springboks, blessings to our scrappy, brave, determined, team.

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
