What’s a country that’s at the top of your bucket list?

I hate that idea! Let’s do good things because we will die one day. I only have one thing on that list, an avoidance of people like the plague who would suggest it. It doesn’t fit my hard won mindset.
I kind of see it as “I’m going to do all these amazing things before I die…Where did that truck come from?”
Besides, imagine if you make a bucket list and kick it the next day! I’d be in front of God, stamping my feet, yelling “but I had a list!”

Your why is important
Why we do everything is important. How we do everything is important. Style of mindset is vitally important. How you choose to think is important. Know thyself.
For me, the psychological difference between a bucket list and my favourite list is immense. To live from a life affirming positive viewpoint or to live for a day you know is coming but not when.
Okay I’ll admit to a negative reaction the instant I heard this saying. It felt like a grim way to live. A way that focused on only one moment. A way that removes a certain amount of flexibility and can lead to disappointment.
And that’s okay, we’re all different and I have to manage my mind.
My favourite list

For me personally, a wish list is subtly different in a way that feeds my soul. You want what you want because you’re alive. Because you have dreams, ambitions, aspirations. These are uplifting ideas.
Who wants their bright ideas in a mythical galvanised metal bucket? Ideas should fly through the air around us. Teasing us with their potential, allowing us freedom and flexibility! We can mentally reach up, grab one, and do that!
Such a blessing for those with so many wonderful places to see that they just can’t decide. That’s me! It also includes what colour undergarments I put on in the morning, so many pretty choices, which top…which earrings. You get the point…
For me, freely and spontaneously is the best way to think, so:
Be spontaneous
Live a little. Go wild. Grab a toothbrush and undies. Choose a country and just go there. Pick the bits you want to see, but add in something else, new, unexpected.

Mindset is so important and you need to understand yours, I do not respond well to any ideas that don’t end well. I know I will have my time to take the next adventure, but let that take care of itself. It’s not why I’m alive.
Also don’t become trapped in one way or one idea. So many of us nowadays are far worse off financially, and our old dreams may seem impossible to reach. But we can always find another dream. I’ve always wanted to visit Moscow and see the Kremlin, not now. I can’t finance war. Sad. But I’ll pick somewhere else.
I didn’t personally choose my Italian, Sedona, or New Zealand holidays. So I was open to what I saw, no grand dreams to let me down. But wow, wow, and wow!
Memories that sustain me to this day.
Let’s be free, be hopeful, keep our minds where they suit us best. I’m sure many people would tell me that their bucket list focuses them, and that is no bad thing.
Just live your life, your way, knowing who you are, and let the ideas that don’t fit float gently away. They’ll float back if it’s right that they do.
Now is not forever.
As to me and the house cleaning object…

P.S. Truth is, I can’t decide! 🤣🤣🤣
