What’s the longest trip you’ve ever taken?

Boy this blog travelled!
Actually it was New Zealand but I think Arizona comes to mind because it was such a spiritual journey for me.
Sedona is one of the energy points in the Earth and the home of those who know how to feel, care, and respect others, animals, and the planet,
Which is odd because Buffalo Heads and animal skins line the walls. When I flinched they explained to me that killing an animal is always regrettable, so they follow the indigenous traditions of using every part they can and displaying them as a reminder of the cost.
It kind of made sense in a way that even they didn’t want it to. If that makes sense. Perhaps the best way to put it is that it wasn’t done for fun or sport.
It’s important to remember that different areas of the world have different needs and drivers in life. Herds have to be culled sometimes, but don’t do it for fun. In ancient times we developed to use whatever we could for food, and meat was readily available. It evolved from there.
Vegans will very much disagree, and they are not wrong, they’re just not 100% right either. No one is. What I’ve written here is a viewpoint not truth. I respect all ways, but I can’t eat a good few things vegans eat. Simple as.
So…
The life journey
My life has had three phases so far:
- What I would call pure human with a strong connection to God. The first part was far from perfect, God made it.
- Following the Spiritual path and learning new ways, with a strong connection to God. The first part of that also not perfect, God also made it.
- Blending pure human with personal spirituality found in my own heart, creating my own beliefs, guided by one simple premise: God is love.
The first path hurt me, the second path hurt me. In both instances I allowed humans to interfere and make me feel bad about myself. On this path I don’t.
I have more balance, you can’t define any human including yourself, by a human mess of right versus wrong. There are so many opinions.
On this path I have God, I have Amos, I have other much valued Spirit helpers, and I have respect for all ways except one hint of violence for the sake of it, even if I do not understand sole ways. I try, but not that one.
That’s quite a journey, one piece of advice. I found myself at 69. Be faster because it’s a wonderful feeling.
My sincere best love to you all
Amorah – Deb
This is the Amos I see. The love that radiates from that face is my teacher. He will never hear a word against anyone. He will explain and suggest kind ways to handle life. As such he is invaluable. I’ll put him into words soon and explain why you have a life guide too. Up to you to test my truth against your feelings. I just know I’m glad that I accepted the seemingly impossible into my life when it turned up. I’m not alone in that. Flexibility plus testing things out rocks!
