Dear Lord Please release me from the latest mess I've created Can you also repair the door mirror on my car? I smacked it on a lamp post trying to get through a gap a bicycle would have struggled with Which reminds me Can I also have a sense of spatial awareness? A temper control dial set to low and a mute button on my mouth Those would save a lot of heartache and significantly reduce my stomach acid hair pulling tendency to throw things Such as my back door keys and the tv remote (I'm stuck watching the BBC at the moment and that's punishment enough) More tolerance of stupidity particularly my own A reminder not to believe everything they say in the media or to at least do some research before I lose my rag I needed it to clean the car Reflecting on the above some common sense would clearly help too As would a clue as to the whereabouts of the fourth umbrella I've lost this month or any one of the others And where I parked my car last night I was a teensy bit drunk and had to crawl home I don't remember where I left it
Seriously Lord Everyone asks a lot of you We expect you to solve all the problems we created Pray to you when we're hurt or scared Then forget you for months We don't follow your ways of truth and light Then wonder why we're in a mess and unhappy We give you different names then fight over you Even though that represents everything you are not
You laid it all out for us Be Love and we pretend we don't understand (when it suits us)
I just wanted to say thank you for all that you do I truly love you And I thought you might need a giggle So this is something just for you With love
I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx

God could do with a giggle sometimes…too. If he’s anything like the one in ‘Bruce Almighty’ let’s hope he doesn’t go on a vacation n leave someone else in charge 😉 for the meantime.
