Not White – Not Dark

Describe your dream chocolate bar.

White chocolate isn’t chocolate. Dark chocolate is spawn of the devil. Milk chocolate is perfect because it’s nicely balanced in the middle.

I like to be calm and centred. I’m neutral on many subjects because I don’t take a side unless I’m clear as to why, and know that I know I’m right. I prize knowledge over opinion and personal belief.

People often think I’m wishy-washy, whereas I often think they’re opinionated and ill informed. You always find that well informed people can discuss. If someone can’t discuss then you’re with opinion not facts.

Obviously we’re all entitled to our opinions, as people are entitled to like white and dark chocolate, with no interference from me. However, when it comes to opinions that destabilise and destroy societies, create havoc on social media, and drive riots (and Brexit), those opinions are dangerous.

I’ll give you an excellent example, you may have heard about knife crime in the UK, with a focus on black people? Over 60% of knife crime in the UK is committed by white people, but we rarely see that mentioned on the news.

The media drive public opinion minus facts.

So, some things you don’t like don’t matter, I’m totally happy with people leaving the milk chocolate for me. But some things you don’t like may not be true, and that matters very much.

When it really matters, get your hands on the facts with as much determination and enthusiasm as you would employ choosing your favourite chocolate bar.

Best love

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
