No Need

Do you practice religion?

My religion has been the God force, or Source, energy since I was a child.

I never believed in the church, a building, or a human standing between me and God. I knew that was wrong, although I couldn’t have articulated that as a child.

I knew that the particular man talking to me from the front of the church was not a godly man. Although I have met people of the cloth who very much are. It’s not the role it’s the heart. The new Pope and Archbishop of Canterbury are two fine examples.

I knew that belief was between you and God, that praying on a Sunday and being pious didn’t fool Him for one second. That only truth would do.

“I am the way, the truth, and the light”

That says it all, follow God, not the word of man, not the interpretations of man. For Christians it’s easy – God is love. There is no further need to read another word.

The meaning is clear. The intention is clear. The instruction is clear.

You are love or you’re not

And you won’t fool God for one single nanosecond. He sees straight into your heart.

I am so fallible sometimes it feels like it will destroy me. I falter and I fall. But I take a deep breath and I come back to love.

Love is the end of all war and violence. Every single nasty word. Every piece of lying, cheating, stealing, raping, and abusing. Every moment of destroying the natural world. It all has to fall at the feet of love.

Be love always, towards every living being and thing, and this beautiful planet. Be what the world needs.

Follow God and the answers are clear.

Best love

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
