Many Quotes!

Do you have a quote you live your life by or think of often?

There are so many quotes that I love, but although this isn’t an official quote, the simplicity of it should not be underestimated.

This is the only way to live your life

Be alive. Engage with life. Love. Laugh. But not just romantic love, love life! Laughter is the best medicine, take several large doses a day and don’t ever lose your laughter. It’s truly dangerous to do so.

Your life is what your thoughts make it

Marcus Aurelius 1st C CE
Marcus Aurelius II – a very clever, gentle, cat.

This saying is absolute truth. What you think about you bring about and grows stronger. Your attitude dictates what you attract to you.

Want to be disillusioned with life? Angry? Let down? Send those thoughts out into the ether and life will deliver you reasons to support your attitude.

Your personality dictates your personal reality

Dr Joe Dispenza

Your life is literally about who you are. I absolutely know the truth of this. I created a situation born out of a very old past incident. I turned to one of Joe’s on line courses and suddenly I understood exactly what I should never have been doing.

Don’t expect a single blog from now on to be focused on my past using examples to illustrate points. It will not be happening. Because the past is dangerous if it’s a hurtful past, as mine was.

You cannot afford to return there in your mind. Ever. It’s a door that must be closed because you deserve your freedom so that you can think and act in the now as the person you could be.

At any point in your life you can become the person you would have been if no one had programmed you with their beliefs, if you hadn’t absorbed the noise of life as truth.

I’m 68, 69 in June, and I’ve just done exactly that. I am not the person I was a fortnight ago. She literally no longer exists. I feel that I am the person I should have been, the person who got lost among the opinions of others, and oh boy is she different. and do I like her! I love her.

Just do not live in the past for one more second.

The past literally no longer exists. There is nowhere you can go to find it. All you can do is recreate it in your own mind, and humans only remember 25% of the past accurately. This means that we fill in the gaps with logical connections that are often inaccurate.

Gregg Branden – TCCHE London 2017

Your past is only your best recollection, not the full truth. Don’t base your life on a best guess you have chosen to drag forward with you.

You are your life

Me

The past is not you. Your parents are not. Your siblings are not. Your boss is not. Your partner is not. Your children are not. Your friends are not. Your enemies certainly are not.

There’s in one person inside you, thinking thoughts, choosing to drag the past back, choosing not to move away from unhappiness, choosing to stay in a horrible job. Choosing not to spread their wings and try new things, or chase down their dreams. You, you, you, and what’s more…

And you’re powerful beyond your wildest dreams

That is truth.

We are properly shocked by this idea of who’s important! Clearly she needs a few worms brought in to remind her!

I hope this blog has helped. If you are struggling leave no stone unturned to change that. To become yourself. You’ll never regret it.

I will leave you with something a friend said about me the other day, a friend who had known me since 1994. It means everything to me and is the perfect way to underpin this blog.

I’ve known Deb for over 30 years, during her worst period of acute anxiety when she constantly struggled with obsessive and frightening thoughts. The person sitting in that chair today is the polar opposite of that person.

Jayne Drummond

I am me.

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
