Describe a random encounter with a stranger that stuck out positively to you.

This wasn’t quite what I had in mind but it is funny and laughter is good. The point is that repeat questions are boring after the third go round.
So…
I can always talk about the cats because they’re not boring.
Tony bought the girls a play tunnel when we got them that has three arms as it were for them to run into. One of them takes their biscuit bowl in there and with Tony’s bad memory he can never find it without my help!

Then there’s food hygiene. Miss Mimzy, right likes to wash her food and biscuits. She picks them up with her paw, drops them into the water bowl, and then fishes them out. She drowns the worktop, the floor, fills their rubber mats with water, flicks it up the walls, and generally leaves havoc in her wake.

Hito is the is master at getting attention, and don’t even think you get to ignore him. Those eyes will not shift until you do as he wishes. If you think you have willpower he will prove you wrong!
After a short time he will very gently hook a paw in your leggings, in my case, and tug, pause, tug. When you give in he will take you exactly where he wants you, food dishes then kitchen for a refill. Just to be clear. He’s 14 and it still makes us giggle.

These two are hilarious. Nero chats away to us chirruping something that sounds very much like “alright?” And you probably won’t believe me, but if you say “I’m alright are you alright?” He always replies with “yep”. It literally sounds exactly like that.
Marcus has authorised cuddling positions, a specific room and chair at specific times. At night he’s taken to going behind the curtains to the French doors, and scratching the glass with his paws over and over again. When Tony gets up to let him out, he runs out and takes Tony to the dining room for his cuddle.
Maybe via a quick circuit of the downstairs toilet because…well we don’t know why. He goes in, marks up the boxing that hides the pipes, then leaves.
The moral of this story
Some of it I’ve said before too. But fun, joyful, happy things are always worth repeating.
We humans have a tendency to focus on what makes us unhappy, often dragging the past back when we’re triggered. That’s not the way to live.
When in doubt repeat those funny stories, repeat those happy stories, focus on them, be deliberate about it. Your mind has gone down the dark path, drag it back and point it in a better direction. Be ruthless, save your sanity.
If anyone sighs and says they’ve heard this before, threaten them with the story of your worst tooth extraction, or the night after a dodgy curry! That will teach them!
Don’t forget to exaggerate. 😉
Best love
