Peaceful Apology?

I am often out of step because I do sincerely believe that peace is possible, we don’t need to live in fear of each other, and that we should all be able to practice our religions in safety.

I believe that there is no reason to question different genders, especially as it’s been proven that there are at least 16 different genders from extremely masculine and feminine through to gender balance.

I believe that skin colour is nothing more than natural sun bloc, depending on where you’re born, and why would I reject anyone for that reason?

Why would I reject anyone without getting to know them?

To me you either like a person or you don’t and their gender and skin colour have nothing to do with anything.

That, of course, is the voice of reason.

I’m also in trouble over the Pope

Big fan. Took on an American on FB pointing out that he works for God not politicians. That did not go well.

Yet how can you question the Pope when he’s supposed to stand up for world peace? “Thou shalt not kill”, is part of the job description.

Makes me feel I’m in good company.

Do people really expect us to support war and killing?

How can anyone say that a war can make the world a safer place? Humanity has tried war many times and it never stops! There are 130 countries currently in a state of conflict – so none of the wars have ever made the world a safer place. They’ve never solved one single thing. Just added graves.

Then there’s social media

Where we all communicate without knowing each other. Where if you word yourself badly, which I did today, the attack is instant. If I do I always apologise and I always mean it, but I’ve never had an apology graciously accepted.

Then today I saw posts about the anniversary of the death of an historical figure who was not well liked by all, which is fair enough, but the poison was appalling.

Yet I question my right to find that shocking.

When the decent question

The world is in serious trouble. If you see the world in a similar way to me, do not question yourself, otherwise another good voice is silenced. It’s time to stop accepting the spite and warmongering in this world as just the way it is.

It’s time for us all to stand up for human rights. To stand up for inclusion and respect. To let the past go.

Humanity is a diverse race, but it is one race, and we’ve had too much poison for too long. If we don’t say no then who will?

And how many will say yes to more of this?

Best love

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
