Are there any activities or hobbies you’ve outgrown or lost interest in over time?
It’s more that life has moved on and with it my hobbies and interests.
Static isn’t a good thing for a human. The more things you try and experiences you have the more you live not survive. You keep your mind active, and maintain youthfulness and enthusiasm for life.
You don’t become an “in my day-and-age” person living in the past, losing connection to the present and relevance to those around you.
I would never want to do the same thing the same way all the time. It would bore me rigid.
I enjoy the many repeat questions we get on here because it challenges me to look at a subject another way.
This isn’t about hobbies, this is about a choice of a slow, dull life, versus an ever evolving dynamic one.
I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx

Not loss of interest but a lot of Agism. I have a young spirit and youthful energy for my ripe age of 34 years old. So a lot of my work and projects, personality and goals I’ve been forced to hand over with no gain or blessings in return but lack there of and rejection by way of the people experiencing abundance in all I’ve been forced to hand over…. Not really blaming people but i am not the one with a mental health issue. I work everyday for court to dispute all false allegations and challenger people i believe are behind this community stalking and bullying approach to pushing me illegally out of my identity and life. I never know who is behind it, but i am beginning to suspect a lot.
This hits hard, time slips by and you feel it.
