I Don’t Eat Candy

What’s your favorite candy?

The stuff is disgusting. Purely personal opinion of course. I also wonder how much garbage there is in it. It looks so unnatural.

There endeth my discourse on candy.

Language barriers

I don’t know if we use the term candy in the UK now, Americanisms get everywhere, but in my youth it was just sweets. Sweets or chocolate. It was a simpler world.

Now it’s a covert one

Often we think the modern world is full of lies and deceit, but I feel it’s been that way for a longer than we know. The covert powers have been working out how to addict us to rubbish, and make millions from that, for a very long time.

Does it ever strike you that behind the facades of our society there is an underbelly of deceit that is deeper, wider, and more insidious than we can begin to imagine? From candy to the White House and everywhere in between.

The UK is disgusted by he who shall not be named.

Post-truth post-reality

If you met me you would find me to be fair, open minded, and fairly neutral. Some think I’m just sailing through life blissfully in my little bubble, away with the fairies. The truth is that I literally trust nothing, however, I also don’t judge what I don’t know. That way lies ulcers, headaches, poor sleep… you get the picture!

We live in a post-truth world where we don’t even know what’s real anymore and can’t trust our own eyes and ears. We all need to become the truth, demand transparency, hold the rich, powerful, governments and corporations to account, and trust nothing until we do. Particularly META, and other social media.

When you were a kid you were probably told not to accept sweets from strangers, right?

It just started with the candy, which is a great metaphor for power. Promise you something sweet, then the rot sets in and costs you a fortune.

Don’t accept sweets from strangers, or promises from government. Particularly don’t trust old men with the money to impress.

My love and respect to the victims of the Epstein scandal. You are brave, beautiful, women, undiminished by their sub-human behaviour. A courageous voice for so many. Shine bright – and remember:

“The best revenge is living well.”

Your experiences will save many!

… it started with sweet lies.

Best Love

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx

      1. Don’t blame you. It’s been horrible over here, a male member of the immediate Royal Family has been deeply involved, and has lost every single title they held. The power brokers in many countries including Presidents are involved. It’s about privilege without responsibility.
