Have you ever performed on stage or given a speech?

I love the crown

I did amateur dramatics, I preferred the back stage work or writing plays though.

I’m also a trained public speaker. I was part of Toastmasters International, the public speaking and leadership training organisation, for several years. During that time I won several competitions. Nothing big but I was building up nicely.

Unfortunately they changed the training programme to be more businesslike, and I didn’t work, so I could never finish a Pathway as they called them. It took the heart out of it for me. It was nice while it lasted though.

I’m also a psychic medium and have done demonstrations of mediumship. If you want a challenge that’s the biggest. My Keynote speech was “The Mystery of Mediumship”, where I explained to people exactly what mediumship is and how it’s done.

I felt I wanted to keep people safe from the very few untrained mediums out there who make any number of mistakes, and the even fewer charlatans. You couldn’t trust the media to do it as they generally did hatchet jobs.

I hope I helped. You may never expect to want to see a medium, then suddenly there’s a loss, and you feel that’s the right thing to do. At a highly emotional time in your life when you’re at your most vulnerable. I felt the information I offered would guarantee a good outcome. Knowledge is power.

Interesting story

About 20 years ago, in America, they did a poll on people’s biggest fears. Death came second, public speaking came first.

So if you want to be confident, train as a speaker, if you want to be super confident, train as a medium. 🤣

Best love

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
