Delicate Question

What is your favorite place to go in your city?

This answer goes to personal responsibility. Owning your own thoughts and reactions and not blaming anyone or anything else for them. In this case anywhere else.

No logical reason

I do not like my local city and there is no good reason for that. It’s a perfectly lovely city with a lot of investment going on. The shopping is excellent, it’s full of great restaurants and coffee shops, the theatre and concert facilities are stupendous, it’s lively and historic.

I just don’t fit there. I don’t feel comfortable there. I can’t explain it better than that. But it’s not the city’s fault.

Seeking reasons

Many people will seek a reason for disliking something or someone, I know better than that.

We humans are driven by many unseen forces, and it’s part of why I believe in past lives. If you have a sudden reaction to a stranger or place, it may very well be a past life memory.

I know that sounds a little woo-woo, but sometimes there is literally no other reason. If you can’t explain it, then you only have either past lives or psychic picks ups to go with.

Instant reactions can be right

It is true that sometimes you meet someone, instantly dislike them, and they do live down to your expectations. That’s psychic ability and there is a logic to that. Our emotions leak into our energy fields and once those fields bump together it’s perfectly possible to be right.

If there’s no logical reason though, just be cautious and see what happens.

Pointless

I haven’t named the city because it’s done nothing wrong.

Often our search to make sense of life is pointless, I’m telling you that nowadays! Let’s stick with the small stuff though because I have no answer to the world chaos.

Life is random, people are unique, places have events happen that some people pick up on. When we get into the energy we will feel it because everything has an energy field.

Most psychics, and many people who aren’t, will tell you they know if they’re going to buy a house when they pull up outside. Energy seeps into bricks and mortar.

Everyone is actually psychic, but it tends to be termed intuition. Same thing.

I’ve been to that city many times now, I can’t shake the feeling. Not its fault, not my fault, I just have to accept that it hasn’t changed in 10 years.

Weird and annoying

Best love

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
