Predictable Answer

Invent a holiday! Explain how and why everyone should celebrate.

Imagining everyone everywhere feeling like this

Sorry to be predictable but this cannot be repeated often enough.

World Peace Day

On the day it was declared then yes let’s have a huge party!

But the real celebration would be the thought of every single human being able to sit with their face turned to to the sun, eyes closed, feeling safe, secure, and happy.

We mustn’t forget the animals though, they will need to be exactly as safe, secure, and happy. Everything from the tiniest stray kitten to the largest lion. Humans are not the only important life on this planet. Far from it, we are the worst thing for the planet.

It’s not just about an end to war either, it’s an end to all violence everywhere, for all. An end to rape, child abuse, knifing, shootings, fist fights, shouting matches, trolling. An end to animal abuse and hunting for sport.

In other words:

It’s an end to fear

Yet the ending of all those things still isn’t the end to fear.

To end fear we will need connection, being together, talking to each other and listening. We will need to understand that we are all identical under the skin.

We will need to stop listening to politicians that divide us; the media who deliberately stir things up to sell newspapers or get the most followers on their apps. Who take a story and exaggerate it until the truth cannot be found, knowing that they will be believed by some, and too many others don’t know what to believe.

An end to lying, cheating, and stealing. Nastiness and spite. Treating other people as if they don’t matter or are lesser than you. An end to crime.

Treating pets like disposable objects or something you get rid of if you get bored, abuse for fun or when you’re angry.

It means treating this planet as if it’s the only thing keeping you alive – which it is.

Maybe even an end to religion so that we can stop fighting over or for God. You can’t fight but God nor do you need to. God is the all powerful.

To create peace we as a race have to change. One person at time if necessary, but in truth that’s too slow to save the world.

But fear is the key that leads to anger and hatred – and war. Fear that you’re wrong. Fear that others are wrong. Fear that you’re not powerful. Fear that someone else has more. Fear of difference. It is the ultimate weakness.

We must end fear

You

Yes you!

Do what you can wherever you can whenever you can to spread true strength in this world. The strength not to be afraid, not to need to carry a knife, not to need to demonstrate your dominance through rape, abuse, and murder.

We can all be the change we want to see. We bloggers can write and write and write that change we want to see. For all.

We are one

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx

    1. I didn’t add it as the post is about violence. I hate the idea of eating any animal, but at the moment we need to find ways to grow enough alternatives to get away from meat eating. As so many crops are failing we’re stuck in an unthinkable pattern. There are also considerations where nut and dairy allergies would make it difficult for people to replace protein in their diet. I’m not excusing it, I’m just saying that what we the police can do OSS try to contribute to peace and non-violence. I know that scientists are well on their way to lab-grown meat but of course what will be in it?

      1. All it takes is taking the first step and will. Depending on outside is not a good idea. Even Yoga says .. you’ll find peace within yourself and never outside. Seeker will definitely find suitable options. I am 9 years on .. never felt so happy, energetic and less sluggish 🙂.
