How do you know when it’s time to unplug? What do you do to make it happen?

Everyone knows you unplug all the electricals before bed time. You either switch them off at the switch or pull out the plugs. Not only is it safe it saves a fortune when you don’t leave electrical items on stand by.
Well maybe not a fortune but every little helps.
Always come to me for simple life advice. 🤣
However…
I have sneaky suspicion that this is a term younger folks use to describe stopping the world and getting off.
If that is the case, then I suggest they start with technology. The light coming into your eyes is unnatural and keeps the brain awake (worrying over the last insult on social media), the way we sit at computers now is extremely bad for the posture.
They also prevent a great deal of exercise and have reduced the couch potato starting age to six.
You could also consider…
That technology has brought social media into our lives, which in its infancy was a good thing and now it can be a very bad thing on any number of levels.
Is the shocking rise in child abuse to do with the amount of training available on line?
Just visiting social media can be incredibly stressful, for my generation because we simply cannot believe it, and younger generations are growing old on a daily diet of trash.
So, yes, unplug from that first (whatever generation you inhabit), minimise the number of people available to insult or shock you. Spend time with family and friends having fun. Then see if your mind still needs sorting out.
Best love and have a fun weekend
