My Guides

Who are the biggest influences in your life?

Yes my biggest influences can’t be seen by my human eye, which is not something I expected, but it’s something that in fact happened to me, that has proved itself time and time again. Some people can see them though.

Clairvoyant means clear seeing, which means that some people can see beyond the veil. I have seen Spirit just once and I would never have known that the person wasn’t real. The only reason I knew at all was that the man I clearly saw was walking down a short passage and the only place he could go was into the Spiritualist church.

I didn’t worry that he wasn’t there when I walked in, I assumed that someone had forgotten their house keys or maybe phone, and a family member had popped them in. I mentioned him at the end because he had struck me as American, and had an extremely distinctive look, and no one, including my husband who had been sitting in the church at the time, had seen him.

As one lady said “I think I would have remembered him.” He was at least 6’ 3”. I certainly still remember him.

Why I’m happy to be weird

Spirit only influence in a good way. They’re about peace and respect for all. Unconditional love, kindness, and support. They can always give gentle and wise advice that never makes you feel bad about yourself, and they’re never unkind about anyone. Their advice is wise and understanding of the human condition we’re all grappling with.

Don’t for one second think they will put up with unloving behaviour towards yourself or others, folded arms are all you need to see to make you shape up instantly! Amos’s “really?” Look puts my mum’s to shame. He has immediately commented “but hers was more beautiful”. 😍

That’s what they’re like. I do my utmost to emulate them because I believe they’re right in their compassion, tolerance, and understanding of the human condition. I don’t need to tell anyone it ain’t easy do I?

Positive influence

So, yes I live a highly unexpected life. No you may not believe in it, and that’s okay, it’s truly something you have to experience to even credit that it’s possible. I don’t expect anyone to take my word for it. But if ever it comes and finds you, and you have no more idea what to do with it than I did, you’re welcome to contact me.

The one thing I would say is, that having Guides as your true best friends forever, makes you want to be worthy of that love, it has made me a better person in a way that nothing else could.

I am truly grateful. My youthful influences were not in line with the person I wanted to be, and they helped me to repair that. Nothing violent or criminal, just an extremely unkind family.

I became the person I wanted to be in the metaphysical hands of beings who are the most loving I’ve ever encountered.

Don’t worry though, I’m not all Spiritual and worthy, I’ve been driving myself nuts lately, better yes, improved yes, perfect? Absolutely not!

Wishing you an amazing festive season, may everyone enjoy it inclusively.

My love and thanks to those who support this blog.

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
