How much would you pay to go to the moon?

I love the moon. I could stand and look at it forever. It’s beautiful and it can bring tears to my eyes on a clear night when we can actually see it. It reaches me at a deep emotional level.

It’s incredible that it’s just reflecting sunlight, yet leave your curtains open and it will light up your house. Have you ever realised that ball of rock allows you to look directly at sunlight without frying your retinas?

Forgive me, I’m such a romantic. 🤣

I always tell it how beautiful it is, wouldn’t want it to feel inferior to the bigger ball of fire. He’s a bit showy.

It’s amazing if you think about it, the way the universe hangs together as a whole. We Earthlings have light to guide our way on the darkest nights, for most of the month. We’re spoilt.

When I look at the picture above I see a ball of rather unimpressive rock. I’m sure the views are spectacular though. But my moon is stunning and I’d like to keep her that way.

I love it when she appears during the day, and you realise that she’s always there. It’s natural magic.

Always lift your head and look up, it reminds you how much is out there that we know nothing about, and to stay youthful and keep an open mind. Old minds that know it all are turning to rock, inflexible and full of potholes!
