A Nest of Tables

What was the last thing you searched for online? Why were you looking for it?

We repotted the house plants. Now they’re growing like mad things, which is wonderful, but we need to find somewhere to put them. Hence new tables.

Frankly if I find a tiger strolling through the jungle that is our dining room I won’t even blink. We will of course adopt it. 🤣

So that’s my unexciting reason to be looking for fairly unexciting furniture.

Hey ho.

At least my undercover political reporter, Clarence Postlethwaite has some material after this morning’s ‘surprising’ comments by the Prime Minister.

They think we’re stupid. We could have told him this!

Sigh

Thoughtful Tuesday for me

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx

  1. Slightly random but the last thing I looked up online was snakes found in the Blue Mountains – I was slightly freaked out yesterday to look out a glass door to see a black snake taking a break on the doormat! Luckily it headed off soon afterwards …

    1. I would have to leave the country. 🤣 I’m not into being proud of my nationality but I am glad I’m a Brit. I couldn’t hurt a snake unless I had to, but they freak me out. My husband was the same but he decided to go cuddle a python at a country show and came back full of how gorgeous she was. When I went to check on him he was giving the talk about her. 🤣. Blue Mountains? Virginia? Thanks for commenting, that’s some story.

  2. It’s the Blue Mountains Australia – outside of Sydney. It totally stunned me – my dog was outside at the time and I moved at warp speed to let him in through another door. No harm done and the snake slithered away. It’s no understatement to say I’m super alert now!
