I’m Sorry What?

How have you adapted to the changes brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic?

Is the pandemic still going on in other countries? In the UK it’s largely over. Yes there are still infections but no pandemic.

Life is pretty normal now except for one thing that keeps cropping up; more people off sick with mental health issues. I feel that people will no longer put their well-being second to work. They won’t be bullied, abused, put upon. People discovered the values that matter during the pandemic, and there is no going back to corporate rule.

People also want to work from home, and it does help. We can save £50 a month if my husband works from home for one day a week. That helps.

I have found that my shopping habits changed as a result of the pandemic, I don’t enjoy it now and rarely buy anything. As prices are insane, that helps too.

Apart from that, in my corner of the world, it feels like a question left over from 2021. However, it may be different for others. I hope your country is largely free of it too.

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx

  1. It impacted everything and people are still getting it and dying its just low key. Dealt with America Canada and UK and don’t trust none of those governments keeping a mask on. Staying cautious. Peace

      1. Dial down from extreme however still cases and death in spots. I moved to the UK and its different towards the way it is in America because still more mask stateside. Yeah the government over here is twins to America and believe me Donald Trump and Borris Johnson felt like twins and I see so many similarities

      2. Tell me about it. I can’t believe Trump could get in again. The far right are terrifying as he’s only platoon games anyway. Johnson did the same with Brexit. No one could work out why he came out of his house the next day quiet and depressed. Because he didn’t really want it, it was a play for Prime Minister. Something he lied his way through.
