What are three objects you couldn’t live without?

I’m not sure there’s anything I couldn’t live without. If there is it certainly wouldn’t be an object.

I couldn’t live without air, food, and water. I grieve deeply when I lose a pet. I’m a little helped on the subject of human loss as I’m a medium and my guide always lets me know they’re okay, and I usually hear from them.

They do the same with pets, but pets are a bit different as if you’re a true animal lover then they’re always a combination of child and best friend. You feel the same overwhelming sense of protection. Even so, I’m still helped.

However, being a medium doesn’t take away the agony of losing a person or pet, that’s precisely why we face the slings and arrows of non-believers, and stand up to the abuse. It’s why we work. If we can do anything to bring an ounce of comfort, a tiny bit of hope, we will.

Each generation faces grief, most are able to keep going, total respect to those who can’t. I would never judge. In my world it might be their time too but through a different route. My world doesn’t have absolutes.

So, for me the people and pets will always be the world. In a world that runs on money – of course money helps to provide life necessities, so I’ll throw in money but for those reasons.

I wouldn’t mind living in a caring, sharing, simpler world, where we bartered and helped each other. Fortunately one necessity we truly need doesn’t cost money and can’t be taken from a courageous person – kindness. We need far more of that.

That no one can do without.

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
