The World Within

I tried for years to find a logo that made sense of my work, and then this popped up on a site where you could download photographs for use on your websites.

It perfectly expresses Transform Your World, because it reminds us that we need to let go of who we currently are and allow transformation of our thoughts, leading to our emotions, leading to our actions, in order to truly change our lives in a meaningful way.

Changing the inside world is key because…

The outside world isn’t a factor

We humans believe that the way we see the world is the way the world is, and that’s not true. Our world-view is affected by personal experience, but the trouble is we don’t realise how much.

I used to be a glass half empty kinda gal, I didn’t realise it because my life training didn’t lead to questioning my beliefs. My family had a negative attitude to life and as a child I didn’t know there was any other way. Which of course led to me being an adult who didn’t know there was any other way.

When you fully realise that your beliefs and reactions create your inner world, and that colours in your view of the outer world, you’re well on your way to creating a happier mindset and therefore a happier life.

Back to your centre

It’s not the problem it’s your reaction to the problem. Yet did anyone ever tell you that you get to choose your reactions the vast majority of the time? Did anyone ever tell you about your power?

When you fully centre yourself in your power, when you realise that your feelings and thoughts shape your world and take charge of both, when you decide to step into the driving seat and direct your life, your way, the world around you will change.

Failing that, the world will be just as it was but your happier mindset has bought the sun out from behind the clouds. One or the other.

The glass isn’t half full or half empty

It’s refillable!

Try this at home

Put your hands over your heart. Visualise a white light in the centre of your chest, that’s your soul. Relax, keep breathing, see that white light fill your entire body and mind, then see it expand to the edges of your energy field (aura). Lastly, bring golden light down from the universe above, and see it form a protective coating around your energy bubble. Repeat every day.

Although we are your soul, and our soul energy has always inhabited every atom of us, this visualisation reminds us of that, and expanding it right out into the aura helps us step into our full power. The gold protective layer filters negative emotion and stops it reaching us.

If you’re feeling out of sorts you can also visualise pure white light coming down from the universe, through the top of your head, cleansing your body, mind, and aura, and feeding your soul with pure energy. Allow the feeling of healing and purifying, and never forget to bring the gold down to protect.

Hope it helps. Visualisations are basically ways to remind ourselves to take care of ourselves, and they’re a good habit to have.

To your happiness and full power!

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, after fearlessly exploring many ideas, philosophies, and tools, I finally found methods that helped me return my mind to a better normal. One of the things I hated about anxiety was the way people treated me like a fool or a problem, I have two degrees and I'm a (much) retired black belt, my IQ is decent, but I constantly felt like a complete idiot, something that was exacerbated by never feeling like the real me. The girl who could laugh endlessly about the smallest things, and had a real excitement about what life had to offer her. I didn't need anyone else to tell me I wasn't 'right', I knew that better than anyone. My mission now is to support people suffering as I did with a message of support with what they're going through, tools and ideas that might help, and a strong message of hope for the future. At 63, which I am at the time of writing, many people I know are in a rut, yet having beaten anxiety I'm now doing more with my life than I ever did when I was struggling just to get up in the morning, let alone face the day. It's a wonderful feeling - so the main message is that it doesn't matter how long you've been struggling or what age you are, when you beat anxiety you will get an entirely new lease of life - and that's fantastic at any age. On a personal note I'm married to my soul mate, we have 5 cats, and I live in the middle of the UK. I follow a number of fantastic thinkers, as it's important to immerse yourself in healthy thinking as often as you can, I'm a Toastmaster and professional public speaker, and I keep life simple and encourage my clients to do the same, and my friends.
