Just for today understand
That we in the Spirit World know what you’re going through
Know the problems that you are facing
We could not Guide and support you if we had not lived there
If we had not suffered from the slavery of emotions
Struggled with the problems of anger and envy
Jealousy and lust
We could not be here if we had not suffered there
You are now old enough in years and wisdom
To understand that you do not have to suffer unnecessarily
You do not have to walk the path of outrage
Or be a slave to negativity
No loins need control your path
No parents need define your life
No family
No ‘friends’ need judge or persuade you
You are yourself
And you are older and wiser
So just for today allow yourself to live without suffering
Allow yourself to make mistakes
Apologise
And move on
Just for today speak with those who have annoyed or upset you
Not anyone but them
Just for today understand that we see you as you are
Know you as you are
And love you as you are
Without reservation
Just for today be at peace with us and yourselves
And do not see us as the sword of judgement or Damocles
Spirit is neither of those things
We are love
Just for today show yourselves the love that you show us
And the respect that you show us
Confer on yourselves the wisdom that you confer on us
Because you are us
You are there and we are here
And that is the only difference
The struggle starts when you forget that
When you forget that the wisdom of aeons and the love of ages
Lives in you and flows through you
But also remember that a river dammed is a river blocked
When that river of love becomes blocked
By the anger generated by foolish words and actions
By fear and need
Fear of you know not what
And need for you know not what
You forget to laugh
And in not laughing you forget to live
We know
Remember that
And just for today be easy on yourselves
Remember too
Always
That tomorrow will be today
And the day after and the day after that
Into infinity
For all your lives
So remember these good things every today

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, after fearlessly exploring many ideas, philosophies, and tools, I finally found methods that helped me return my mind to a better normal. One of the things I hated about anxiety was the way people treated me like a fool or a problem, I have two degrees and I'm a (much) retired black belt, my IQ is decent, but I constantly felt like a complete idiot, something that was exacerbated by never feeling like the real me. The girl who could laugh endlessly about the smallest things, and had a real excitement about what life had to offer her. I didn't need anyone else to tell me I wasn't 'right', I knew that better than anyone. My mission now is to support people suffering as I did with a message of support with what they're going through, tools and ideas that might help, and a strong message of hope for the future. At 63, which I am at the time of writing, many people I know are in a rut, yet having beaten anxiety I'm now doing more with my life than I ever did when I was struggling just to get up in the morning, let alone face the day. It's a wonderful feeling - so the main message is that it doesn't matter how long you've been struggling or what age you are, when you beat anxiety you will get an entirely new lease of life - and that's fantastic at any age. On a personal note I'm married to my soul mate, we have 5 cats, and I live in the middle of the UK. I follow a number of fantastic thinkers, as it's important to immerse yourself in healthy thinking as often as you can, I'm a Toastmaster and professional public speaker, and I keep life simple and encourage my clients to do the same, and my friends.
